PAYDAY 2: Point Break DLC Coming December 3rd

Recently, Starbreeze and 505 Games announced that PAYDAY 2 will be getting both the Point Break Heists DLC and the Bodhi Character Pack DLC starting tomorrow, in anticipation of the new Point Break film coming to theaters on December 25th.

The CEO of Starbreeze, Bo Andersson-Klint, couldn’t be happier about the union between the two: “Point Break has always been a huge inspiration for the PAYDAY games, so to be able to integrate the film’s characters and storylines into PAYDAY 2 is a dream come true. We previously worked closely with Lionsgate on the successful addition of their character John Wick as a member of the PAYDAY gang, so using that same business model, Lionsgate introduced us to Alcon and Warner Bros. to create two Point Break heists that we believe are some of the best to date.”

In the Point Break DLC (which will be priced at $6.99) players will be getting:

-2 new heists

– 4 New masks

– Locke, a new contact

– 6 New songs

– A new pistol secondary weapon

– 4 Melee weapons

– And 10 new achievements (5 for each heist)

The two new heists are Beneath the Mountain, and Birth of Sky.

(Payday 2, Overkill Software)

In Beneath the Mountain, the Payday gang is sent by Locke to infiltrate Black Ridge, a base left over from the Cold War era and is now serving as the command center for the mercenary army of Murkywater.
