The 2018 Mobile World Congress, hosted in Barcelona, Spain, is currently running from February 26th until March 1st. It is during this conference that Korean game developer, Pearl Abyss, has debuted Black Desert Mobile. Playable demos can be found on the show floor at the Samsung Electronics Experience Zone. Attendees can play the game on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.
Pearl Abyss also announced a partnership with Samsung Electronics to develop the “next-generation” Vulkan graphics API. The partnership aims to optimize Vulkan efficiently enough to run console-level visuals on smartphones. Considering the Galaxy S9’s emphasis on “high-quality graphics”, it makes sense for Pearl Abyss to debut Black Desert Mobile on their high-end smartphone line. The two studios are also working to ensure Black Desert Mobile is fully compatible with the Samsung Dex. This accessory allows users to connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, Note 8, S9, and S9+. Check out this Galaxy A13 Cover you can customize.
