Pikmin 2 will be releasing for the Wii on June 10, 2012. The GameCube classic was re-released on the Wii in Japan, Europe, and Australia, but was not released in the United States although there have been rumors of a North American port since April.
Pikmin 2 will be released as part of Nintendo Selects greatest hits titles and will cost gamers $19.99. Not only is Pikmin 2 a Nintendo Select title, so is Mario Power Tennis. Two other popular Wii titles, Super Smash Bros Brawl and Donkey Kong Country Returns will also be seeing a price reduction to $29.99.
The effective date of the price drop has not been given.
