Pikmin fans and Wii U owners alike can now expect Pikmin 3 to hit the Nintendo eShop and retail stores on August 4th, Nintendo has announced.
In addition to the new release date, a new Pikmin, a pink Pikmin, has been officially revealed and detailed. This new Winged Pikmin will be able to fly, carry items and is always following players around. Satoru Iwata, during today’s Nintendo Direct, stated that the new Pikmin will be ‘helpful in different ways than the other Pikmin types.”
