Nintendo has reveled they will be announcing a new Mario game at E3 this year. What they did not mention is that they are planning on releasing a new Pikmin game as well.
“In a recent interview, Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that Pikmin will be shown at E3 this year and that anyone who has played Pikmin games in the past, from the beginning to the last one, will enjoy playing. Nothing further will be disclosed at this time.”
That seems to be as official of an announcement as we can expect. Although a “3” was not specifically mentioned, the announcement could actually mean Pikmin Dance or Pikmin Party.
