Those accusing Nintendo of releasing the same game over-and-over again whilst adding little in terms of modification may not be able to utter the insult anymore after former Pikmin director Masamichi Abe has been tipped to be working on an original Nintendo title.

This rumor emerges after Katushiro Harada, currently working on Tekken, tweeted:

“He (Masamichi Abe) is in Nintendo Kyoto now. working on some Nintendo original title RT@2Andrin what happened to Masamichi Abe? Is he retired?”

The tweet was sent earlier today, November 26th 2013 at 3:06 AM (BST) and it is currently unknown if Masamichi Abe is indeed working on an original title for Nintendo.
