Play as Aloy in Monster Hunter World, Beta Begins December 9th for PS4

<p>One of the most anticipated games of 2018 is coming very early on in the year&comma; and Capcom has some good news for PlayStation 4 <em>Monster Hunter<&sol;em> fans&period; <em>Monster Hunter World<&sol;em> is releasing on January 26&comma; 2018 for the PS4 and Xbox One&comma; with a PC release to follow&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><iframe width&equals;"560" height&equals;"315" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;embed&sol;Qrz3zysD7cU" frameborder&equals;"0" allowfullscreen><&sol;iframe><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There will be an open beta for PS4 players starting on December 9th&comma; so all players will be able to see what 3DS fans have been eating up for the last number of years&period; It should be noted that it is not known if there will be an Xbox One or PC beta&comma; Capcom has still only said that the PS4 beta starts on December 9th&period; The beta for <em>Monster Hunter World<&sol;em> will consist of three quests&comma; and can be played co-operatively online&comma; or solo offline&period; The quests will feature the Barroth in the Wildspire Wastes&comma; as well as the Great Jagras and Anjanath in the Ancient Forest Area&period;  Presumably there will be plenty of gear options for players to figure out what style of play works best for them&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Another special treat for PlayStation users is the ability to dress up as Aloy from <em>Horizon&colon; Zero Dawn<&sol;em>&comma; and there is even a special outfit for your Palico with a <em>Horizon<&sol;em> theme as well&period; This is nothing new for <em>Monster Hunter<&sol;em> fans&comma; as the game has been known to have costumes for Palico and armor sets for characters as well&period; The Link armor set and Master Sword made an appearance in <em>Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate<&sol;em>&period; Additionally you were able to dress up your Palicos in Mario and Luigi outfits&comma; which even would equip them with the classic Hammer from Donkey Kong&period; It isn&&num;8217&semi;t known if there will be any <em>Halo<&sol;em> or <em>Fable<&sol;em> themed treats for the Xbox One users&comma; but hopefully Capcom gives Xbox players something cool for their version of the game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Capcom is about to bring monster hunting goodness to current-gen consoles for the first time in a long time&comma; and things look pretty good so far&period; <em>Monster Hunter World<&sol;em> is looking fantastic&comma; and will likely be the first big game of 2018&period; Are you a <em>Monster Hunter<&sol;em> fan&comma; and looking forward to being able to play on your PS4&comma; Xbox One or PC&quest; Let us know in the comments below&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; Paris Games Week 2017<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
