According to reports by Polygon and Game Informer, the PlayStation 4 will not support Bluetooth or USB chat at launch.
A representative from Sony reportedly told Game Informer that an update will be release after the console releases on November 15 that will bring support for Bluetooth and USB headset chat.
The PS4 will be shipping with a mono ear-bud headset/microphone that can be used for in-game chat. This comes after a Sony representative told Polygon that the PS4 would support PlayStation 3 wireless headsets. Apparently the support will not be part of the new systems launch, however.
What are your thoughts about the news? Does this change your opinion of the system?
