Sony has announced plans to discount six new games over the course of six weeks, via their PlayStation Store ‘Launch Party’. This new promotion will start on March 15th with Salt and Sanctuary and run until April 26th when it ends with Housemarque’s new title, Alienation. This new promotion is a substitute for PlayStation’s annual Spring Fever sale that they are retiring and replacing with this. There will be other discounts, but the focus is on the new titles launching each week.

The trailer above shows the games in action, but below is a list of what titles will be available and how much they will be:

3/15 – Salt and Sanctuary (PS4) $17.99, $16.19 Pre-order Price

3/22 – Day of the Tentacle Remastered (PS4/Vita) $14.99, $13.49 Pre-order Price

4/5 – Enter the Gungeon (PS4) $14.99, $13.49 Pre-order Price

4/12 – Stories: The Path of Destinies (PS4) $14.99, $13.49 Pre-order Price

4/19 – Invisible, Inc. (PS4) $19.99, $17.99 Pre-order Price

4/26 – Alienation (PS4) $19.99, $17.99 Pre-order Price

The Launch Party contains quite a few games which I’m excited for, most notably Day of the Tentacle Remastered, which recently had its release date announced. The rest are curiosities though. Invisible, Inc. received a lot of praise last year on PC, and I am pretty stoked to get my hands on that game, as well as Housemarque’s Alienation – their first PS4 title since the incredible Resogun. Enter the Gungeon looks like a lot of fun, and Stories: The Path of Destinies is visually striking. Salt and Sanctuary seems to be going for a Souls-like vibe, with a very dark aesthetic to it as well.

Pre-ordering any of the games before launch gives you access to the 10% discount, as well as the ability to pre-load them and play them the moment they become available. Also keep in mind that Day of the Tentacle Remastered is the only game on this list which is available for both PS4 and Vita, while also being the only cross-buy title.
