Sony revealed at a press event today that they are giving the Playstation Store a visual overhaul in the coming weeks. The redesign will hit PAL- format areas on October 17 and North America on October 23.
The redesign is aiming to make things easier for people trying to find what they are looking for. Options for games, TV shows, and movies will be clearly represented on the home screen of the Playstation Store when the overhaul takes place. The search functionality is also being improved, with abbreviations and mistypes being taken into consideration when searching for what you want. For example, typing “MW3” in the search bar will take you straight to Modern Warfare 3.
