Pokemon made their way into the United States in 1996 and since then many more have been created. However, the original starters and Pikachu hold a place to in many of our hearts. And many of us have had the desire to Catch Em’ All. If you’re interested in Catching Em’ All in plush form then here’s where you can acquire the first twenty-five entries in the National Pokedex.
Starter Pokemon (#1 – 9)
Being the first Pokemon we begin our journey with, it’s easy to find a plushie for National Pokedex entries one through nine. Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur get you started with their grass type greatness. Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, and Mega Charizard set your soul ablaze. Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise make a great splash!
Illusive Insects, Birds, Mammals, and Reptiles (#10 – 24)
For Pokemon plush collectors, there seems to be a shortage of bug type pokemon plushies. Plushes of Caterpie and Metapod are particularly hard to find. However, sometimes they may be found at a high price imported from Japan. Butterfree is much more readily available in both Pink and Purple. Weedle, Kakuna, and Beedrill share a similar problem, being equally difficult to find. But bug type Pokemon aren’t the only ones that are scarce. Pidgey, Pidgeotto, and Pidgeot don’t have it that much better. Rattata is available and Raticate is too but in Alola form. Spearow and Fearow have no such luck and neither do Ekans and Arbok.
