Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened English Trailer

<p>The sixteenth Pokémon movie&comma; officially titled <em>Pokémon the Movie&colon; Genesect and the Legend Awakened<&sol;em> saw its first English Trailer release today&period; Personally I would have kept &&num;8220&semi;Mewtwo&&num;8221&semi; in the title like the Japanese version&comma; which translates as <em>ExtremeSpeed Genesect&colon; Mewtwo Awakens<&sol;em>&comma; but hey&comma; I&&num;8217&semi;m a writer&comma; not a marketing guy&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The movie features the ancient Pokémon Genesect&comma; revived by Team Plasma no doubt for nefarious purposes&comma; as well as the aforementioned Mewtwo&period; However&comma; this Mewtwo is not the same one many of us are familiar with&period; Hideki Sonoda&comma; the screenwriter&comma; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;twitter&period;com&sol;sonodahideki&sol;status&sol;355223020744359936">confirmed on Twitter<&sol;a> that this Mewtwo is not the same character from the first Pokémon film&comma; but a different individual with a more feminine voice and the ability to transform into &&num;8220&semi;Awakened Mewtwo&&num;8221&semi; &&num;8211&semi; a form that plays into the new &&num;8220&semi;Mega Evolution&&num;8221&semi; mechanic seen in the Pokémon X and Y games&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Pokémon the Movie&colon; Genesect and the Legend Awakened<&sol;em> airs on Cartoon Network on October 19&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<div class&equals;"zemanta-pixie" style&equals;"margin-top&colon; 10px&semi; height&colon; 15px&semi;"><img class&equals;"zemanta-pixie-img" style&equals;"border&colon; none&semi; float&colon; right&semi;" src&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;img&period;zemanta&period;com&sol;pixy&period;gif&quest;x-id&equals;9df54aae-4e0b-4b4f-b9be-74fde4c2d46b" alt&equals;"" &sol;><&sol;div>&NewLine;
