<p>Yesterday. <a title="Pokémon X and Pokémon Y Announced for 3DS" href="https://bagogames.com/pokemon-x-and-pokemon-y-announced-3ds/">Nintendo announced <em>Pokémon X and Pokémon Y</em></a> for the 3DS, complete with an announcement video. In it, we caught a glimpse of two other Pokémon aside from the new starters. Today, Nintendo has revealed the names (as well as pronunciation) of those two Pokémon.</p>
<p>First up, Yveltal (ee-VELL-tawl):</p>
<p><a href="https://bagogames.com/pokmon-pokmon-legendaries-named/yveltal/" rel="attachment wp-att-34518"><img class="alignnone wp-image-34518" alt="Yveltal" src="https://bagogames.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Yveltal.png" width="626" height="421" /></a></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p>And Xerneas (ZURR-nee-us):</p>
<p><a href="https://bagogames.com/pokmon-pokmon-legendaries-named/xerneas/" rel="attachment wp-att-34517"><img class="alignnone wp-image-34517" alt="Xerneas" src="https://bagogames.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Xerneas.png" width="647" height="394" /></a></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p>I think it&#8217;s pretty easy to figure out which Pokémon corresponds with which <em>Pokémon</em> game. I mean, their physical appearances aside, their names say it all. Now, what types are they? That&#8217;s far more important.</p>
<p><em>Pokémon X and Pokémon Y</em> are due to release worldwide this October.</p>
