<p><a class="zem_slink" title="Nintendo" href="http://nintendo.com" target="_blank" rel="homepage">Nintendo</a> has released a few new screenshots and art work for the starter Pokemon for the upcoming <em>Pokemon X and Y</em>.</p>

<p><em>Pokemon </em>fans do have a lot to look forward to with this new entry. For the first time ever a mainline <em>Pokemon </em>game will have 3D exploration, and a 3D battle system. Aside from the revamped graphical look <a class="zem_slink" title="Game Freak" href="http://www.gamefreak.co.jp/" target="_blank" rel="homepage">Game Freak</a> seems to be bringing back a few old friends. With Magikarp, Pikachu, and Psyduck making appearances in the trailer perhaps this means the game will be taking place in either the Kanto or Johto regions.</p>
<p>There are some rumors of some deep online connectivity, but until further information is released we will just treat the topic as wishful thinking.</p>
<p>We will keep you up to date with any new <em>Pokemon X and Y </em>information is released up until the October 2013 release date.</p>
