Pokémon X & Y will be receiving an upcoming event taking place at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, with a Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon available for download.

Running from August 14th to August 17th, the Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon is similar to the one that France received in June and Japan is also expected to see an event for the Pokémon in August.

If this event isn’t enough to excite any of you Pokémon fans out there, then maybe the announcement that legendary game designer Shigeki Morimoto will be at Gamescom on August 14th to sign autographs.

Junichi Masuda, who had previously worked on several Pokémon titles, is expected to deliver a video message concerning the highly anticipated Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. Additionally, Masuda will be discussing a special Pokémon Battle Competition, where the winner will receive none other than Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire as a prize.

Pokémon X &is scheduled for another event to take place in Japan next month, with a special Pikachu available for download at Minato Mirai park. Further details on that event can be found here at BagoGames.
