During today’s Nintendo Direct Mini, Nintendo announced the release of their upcoming Battle Pack for Pokkén Tournament DX. It will include two waves of fighters, with the first wave being released on January 31st and the second being available on March 23rd. Each wave consists of two support Pokémon and one battle Pokémon.
The first wave of the Battle Pack includes Aegislash as a battle Pokémon, with Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu as support Pokémon. Aegislash will have two forms to switch between, providing players some variety as they utilize the Pokémon’s two different forms. Meanwhile, the second pack includes Blastoise as the battle Pokémon with Mew and Celebi in tow as support Pokémon.
On top of the waves of Pokémon in Pokkén Tournament DX‘s Battle Pack, there are also new Avatar Items and other goodies that are available immediately once you purchase the Battle Pack. While you’ll have to wait for each wave to be released, the Battle Pack is available for purchase now and requires you to own the base game of Pokkén Tournament DX in order to play it.
