<p>We hope you’ve been training your team of Pocket Monsters guys as the official dates for the Pokémon Video Game Championships (Pokémon VGC) have been announced.</p>
<p>Interestingly, some countries are actually missing out this year, notably Spain where reigning UK champion Rueben Puig Lecegui resides although he was disqualified after winning his title due to issues that arose after the 2012 tournament in a hotel room.</p>
<p>Players will be playing on Pokémon Black 2 or Pokémon White 2 and their copy of the game must be a PAL version. The countries the tournament will be held in are Italy, Germany and the UK.</p>
<p>The specific dates are as follows:<br />
&#8211; Saturday 11th – Sunday 12th May: Milan, Italy<br />
&#8211; Saturday 25th May – Sunday 26th May: Bochum, Germany<br />
&#8211; Saturday 1st June – 2nd June: Birmingham, UK</p>
<p>Will you be entering this year?</p>
