Poor, Poor Mr. Schilling

<p style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;">&NewLine;<p>Former MLB pitcher&comma; Curt Schilling has all but kissed his baseball fortune goodbye as his game development company&comma; 38 Studios went under&period; Along with the company has disappeared &dollar;50 million of his own money as well as a &dollar;75 million loan from the state of Rhode Island&period;  With the company declaring bankruptcy&comma; Schilling is not the only one to feel the pain of the company&&num;8217&semi;s demise&period;  38 Studios employees were left jobless and<a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;kotaku&period;com&sol;5917970&sol;the-story-of-a-family-in-turmoil-after-a-video-game-studio-closes-its-doors&quest;tag&equals;38studios"> never received much of the pay<&sol;a> they were promised for their work as&comma; frankly&comma; there is no money left&period;  The collapse of 38 Studios is sad for gamers as it was a promising&comma; young developer and even more sad for those who worked there as they are unemployed and likely much worse off from the whole ordeal&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Hopefully this news does not reflect a current downfall of the gaming industry as game sales are proving to be weaker each year&period;  I know none of us here at BagoGames like to see a good developer and great talent go down the drain as such and hope that everyone involved can get back on their feet&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lpar;Via<a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;kotaku&period;com&sol;5920520&sol;curt-schillings-50-million-is-gone-along-with-the-rest-of-38-studios&quest;utm&lowbar;medium&equals;twitter&amp&semi;utm&lowbar;source&equals;dlvr&period;it"> Kotaku<&sol;a>&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
