All PC gamers who love them some side-scrolling hack and slashers, can rejoice. The wildly popular Xbox Arcade title Castle Crashers from developer The Behemoth is going to be released on the PC and will be available for download through Steam.
For all who have not played or heard of the title, it is a four player co-op where players control one of four elemental knights, who basically consist solely of a helmet, in order to save the kingdom from evil. Along the way you power up physical and magical abilities as well as unlock over 40 unique weapons.
The PC version of the game will feature all of the elements from the original game including the extra additions you would expect from Steam, these include:
- Integrated voice chat capabilities
- Achievements for Steam
- Gamepad options
- Cloud support through Steam
