Popular video game magazine Famitsu has recently conducted a poll to try and put their figure on which systems will be popular in 2013. With the recent release of Nintendo’s Wii U and ongoing battle between the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS it makes for some interesting reading.
Do note however that, unless you class “Other” as next-generation systems that these results do NOT take into consideration upcoming consoles from both Microsoft and Sony:
- PS Vita – 64.0%
- 3DS – 48.2%
- Wii U – 33.8%
- PS3 – 25.2%
- PC – 14.4%
- Xbox 360 – 10.6%
- Smartphone – 10.0%
- PSP – 9.6%
- Wii – 9.0%
- iPad – 7.0%
- DSi/DSiLL – 5.2%
- iPhone – 5.0%
- iPod Touch – 4.0%
- Other – 2.4%
