EA have announced that gamers who preorder Crysis 3 (due February 2013) will also receive a digital download code to receive a free copy of the original version of the game.
Those who commit early on Xbox 360 will receive a Xbox Live Arcade code whilst PlayStation 3 and PC fans will also receive a code for their own digital platforms (PC fans will need to download through Origin).
Whilst it may not seem like much at first, especially seeing as the original Crysis game is five years old, the game still retails for $20 on all three of the digital platforms listed above, so EA is really trying to convince you to put your money down for what should be one of the biggest titles of 2013.
Remember also that for those who preorder Crysis 3 early will also get a free upgrade to the “Hunter Edition” which gives access to the new “Predator bow” weapon and “Hunter Nanosuit” module.
