Publisher Rising Star Games has announced that Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut will be released on PlayStation 3 in the United Kingdom on 26th April, and that a pre-order offer is currently available.
According to a press release, people who pre-order the game via participating retailers – a full list of which is intended to be published at www.deadlypremonitionthegame.com – will receive “exclusive downloadable content”, while another “first-come, first-served ” type of offer sees a limited run of retail copies containing a free 30-day trial membership of Sony’s PlayStation Plus service.
Horror adventure Deadly Premonition (Red Seeds Profile in Japan) was developed by Access Games and originally released in 2010, and the upcoming Director’s Cut version will not only mark the first official release of the game on PS3 in Europe and North America, but also contains a host of new features such as high-definition graphics, improved controls, and a new scenario to play through.
Following the European release, Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut is scheduled for release in North America on 30th April.
