<p>After all of the leaks, rumors, and questions we finally have the truth<em>: Pokémon Go</em> for the Switch is the real deal! It has everything to attract old, new and current trainers. In <em>Pokémon: Let&#8217;s Go!</em> players will be able to transfer the Pokémon they captured in the mobile game and transfer them into the Switch game. Based in the Kanto region, trainers are able to explore, capture Pokemon and battle. If you&#8217;re dying to own a Pokemon merchandise, you can grab them on sites like <a href="https://pkm.store/collections/pokemon-kuscheltiere">Pokemon Kuscheltiere</a>.</p>

<p>The purpose of these two games is to form a bridge between the casual and hard-core players. It should be a dream come true for the community. Theoretically, new and returning players will join the current ones to make the community even bigger. However, this move is a risky one due to the drastic changes made to this spin-off. Below are my views on both the pros and cons of this new direction Pokémon is heading.</p>
<h3><strong>Pros:</strong></h3>
<p><em>Pokémon Go</em> mobile players now are able to use all of their hard-earned Pokémon in a game on the Switch. Soon, we will be able to go between both games and make use of the shared save date. The mobile game holds all of the nostalgia of the series while encouraging people to gather and work together in the real world to capture Pokémon just like a real trainer. With <em>Let&#8217;s Go! Pikachu and Let&#8217;s Go Eevee</em> being released on the Switch and working alongside the mobile game, the exclusive mobile players have an easy way to start playing consoles.</p>
<p>It just may be a game that inspires mobile gamers to purchase the Nintendo Switch and introduce them into the real game world. Another reason many people will purchase it is the 2-player feature. By using just one joy-con, Switch owners can play with friends without needing to purchase another controller. This fact alone will make Let&#8217;s Go! appealing to parents with young children. They can play a <em>Pokémon</em> game together without needing to purchase a second console.</p>
<h3><strong>Cons:</strong></h3>
<p>The disappointment of it being a full $60 game. A $40 price tag would most likely incline even more people into purchasing the game. Especially since the Poke Ball joy-con will most likely come with a large price too. Still having to use real-money for micro-transactions in the mobile game while continuing the journey in Let&#8217;s Go! will make the total cost of the game the most expensive on the Switch.</p>
<p>Based on the reports only 151 Pokémon will be available in the game. It cuts down on what trainers will hope to capture and find. The only upside is that completionists will have an easier time completing their Pokédex. The Pokémon in the Switch game is captured without the need to battle in the wild. This takes quite a bit of fun out of a Pokémon game. We can only hope that there is enough content in <em>Pokémon Let&#8217;s Go</em> to make it worth the price.</p>

<p>The big thing to remember is that <em>Let&#8217;s Go!</em> is not a full-fledged main <em>Pokémon</em> game that fans have been craving to be released on the new hybrid Nintendo console. The next main story game will be released in 2019. With this in mind, trainers hopefully will view this spin-off as a game to hold us over until the release of a new main game. Despite all of the arguments, speculations, and hopes, we will have to wait for Nintendo&#8217;s presentation next week at E3. to learn more. This spin-off duel games may be the new start of the company branching out into a whole new direction.</p>
