Update: Talking to Game Informer, Sony has confirmed that they have no plans on announcing any 1TB PS4s for North America “at this time.”

Original Story: Earlier this month, it was revealed that Microsoft would be releasing a 1TB Xbox One and a new controller to stores as well as permanently dropping the price on its 500 GB models. Now it looks like Sony’s responded in kind.

The company’s announced that this 15th of July, you can pick up a 1TB PS4 if you live in select PAL regions in Europe. Sony says to check your local retailer for further details (a.k.a pricing).
