There’s a new ad for the PS4 making the rounds today that isn’t what you’d expect a PS4 ad to look like. For starters, it’s about a cab company. Secondly, it’s about a cab company called Hadouken Cabs.

VG247 received the trailer in an email, which they described to be ‘bizarre’ and, yeah, that fits this video pretty well. It’s got a few PlayStation and Street Fighter references, aside from the obvious Ryu character and being called ‘Hadouken’ Cabs. The license plate on the cab reads, ‘PS1994’ or, you know, the year the original PlayStation released. The phone number for the company is 0830 1987-KO, but if you just take the numbers, you get 08-30-1987, also known as the release date of the first Street Fighter in arcades.

‘But what makes this a PS4 ad?’, you may be asking. Nothing more than the flash of a DualShock 4, the four PlayStation buttons and the hastag #4theplayers near the end. Street Fighter and PlayStation 4? What’s going on here.

Either we’re in for a PS4/Street Fighter announcement or someone is messing with us. Either way, I just want to know what this is about.

Oh, and Hadouken Cabs has a website, where you can speak to an operator. Wha?
