The PlayStation 4 is due out next month (holy crap!), so now doesn’t seem like an odd time to see some of the new features and tweaks that have been made to the system following the PlayStation 3. Like the new Trophies and how they’re presented.
In this video from RajmanGamingHD, we’re given a brief look at what happens when you unlock a Trophy. The familiar ‘ding’ sound is made, just like on the PS3, but Trophies appear and disappear faster, which is shown when the PS4 and PS3 Trophy notifications are shown side by side. You may have also noticed that they now scroll in from the left side, before fading out.
Hopefully Trophies will also be faster to search for after you get them. Navigating through the XMB to find trophies now takes a little longer than necessary.
