If you’re sick of having to leave home to get a game or waiting for someone to deliver it to your home, PSN may soon have you covered with its newly announced PSN Day 1 Digital Program.

The PlayStation Blog details PSN Day 1 Digital, which will go into effect during the month of October, and will see downloadable versions of the new releases set to come out during that month (Dishonored, anyone?). Additionally, out of the eight titles being offered, several will be made available for pre-order and PS+ members will get a 10% discount. Once again making PS+ a tempting service to delve in to.

This is something I’d like to see more of and I think it’s safe to say that PSN may have just made the month of October a little easier to get through. Your move, Microsoft?
