PSN Going Offline In South Korea

Sony’s PSN store will be going offline this month on the 29th. Due to the harsh laws of online gaming in South Korea which don’t allow gamer’s under the age of 16 to play for more than 6 hours a night.

The law goes into effect on July 1st. Sony is working on a way to have the store back up at some stage during the year. No dates were announced.

This mean’s that all content on the store is no longer available for people to download. You can imagine this would be very frustrating and we hope Sony can restore services over time. If we hear anything new on this we will let you know.
