E3 2016: Quake Champions Announced

Quake Champions, a new title in the series, has been announced at this year’s E3.

It’s a competitive arena game for PC. Both newcomers and veterans will be welcomed in this new Quake. This is also featuring classic combat.

The game will have a “Diverse cast of characters with different attributes and abilities,” according to Bethesda. E-sports is a focus in the title, and like recent titles such as Overwatch and Battleborn, it will feature a cast of heroes to choose from.

More will be shown at Quakecon this August, but a new announcement trailer has been released. You can view it above. No release date has been given. What a way to start a show though hey?

Are you excited about the new Quake? The last Quake release was Enemy Territory: Quake Wars in 2007, almost a decade ago. Let us know in the comments below and we will keep you posted as the news keeps coming throughout the Bethesda E3 Conference.
