R-Type Final 2 is Coming to PC and Consoles in Spring 2021

The game is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series

It seems like NIS America is going to be publishing R-Type Final 2. Of course, it’s a Granzella game so this was bound to happen at some point. Regardless, R-Type Final 2’s release window has been revealed with this announcement. According to NIS, R-Type Final 2 will release in Spring 2021. The game will be released on PlayStation 4/5, the Xbox Series (S/X), Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. In addition, the game will be released on PC via Steam. The game will be published by NIS over in Europe, America, and Oceania.

R-Type Final 2 Features

R-Type Final 2 will step up its game in terms of the visuals and gameplay features. According to the press release by NIS America, New and old players alike can shape their experience to their liking with the performance-based difficulty system and customizable ships and pilots, while experiencing classic R-Type trademarks such as the “Force” mechanic and an addictive gameplay loop. You’ll be able to go through an entire universe of new and classic stages; face enemies that evolve with your performance, and blast the competition away with worldwide leaderboards.

There are things to be said about adaptive difficulty, we know. However, the game promises to adapt properly according to the player’s individual experience. As such, new and old players alike can hop on and join the fun. In addition, you’ll be able to customize the look and weaponry of your ship. You’ll be able to personalize every element of your ship, including coloring, types of weapons, and decals. In fact, you’ll be able to even customize the pilot to your liking!
