For those gamers looking forward to the cross-buy feature that was being offered with Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (or Ratchet & Clank: QForce as it’s known in Europe), they will have to wait. According to CVG, the Vita version of the game has been delayed.
According to Sony, the delay is “to ensure that your experience is packed with all the action and polish you’d expect from a Ratchet & Clank game.”
Both versions were set to launch on November 27 in the US and late November in the EU to promote Sony’s cross-buy feature. The PlayStation 3 version will still release in November.
This is disappointing news who were looking forward to getting both versions for one price. Sony has stated that the cross-buy offer is still in place and gamers who purchase the PlayStation 3 version will be given a code to download the Vita version.
“To reward you for your patience, we’ll be giving you the very first piece of DLC for the title, the Miniboss multiplayer skin pack, for free,” adds Sony.
