Rayman Legends, the Wii U exclusive sequel to Rayman: Origins, has been given a solid release date by Ubisoft today. Get ready to jump back into the Rayman universe and smack your friends around (by accident, of source) on February 26th; if you reside in North America. Those that live in Europe, the Middle East or Africa will have to wait a couple more days until the 28th rolls around, while the UK has to hold out until the 1st of March.

If that wait seems a bit long for you, you may find some comfort in knowing that a demo for the game is set to hit the eShop next Thursday (December 13th), regardless of where you live. I still find it to be a little unfortunate that Rayman Legends is on the Wii U only, but hey, that just makes it another game to pick up when getting a Wii U. Have to stay positive about these things, right?
