Screenwriter Max Landis most likely did some experimenting before he achieved that role and one was a lengthy screen adaptation of the Super Mario Bros video game. Having wrote it when he was 19 years old, Landis will be the first one to tell you “this script sucks.” And now he’s released it online for all the world to read. Keep in mind this is not the script for the 1993 Super Mario Bros movie as Max was only 8 when that movie came out.
