Realm Pictures Makes a “Real Life Hitman” Game

Realm Pictures, the creators of the Real Life First Person Shooter series of videos, have made a “Real Life Hitman” game for well known YouTubers.

In this video, Realm Pictures replicated the style of the Hitman games and made them interactive in real life. In the third person perspective, YouTubers (and other social media stars) directed Agent 47 and used objects on screen to get through the mission. It’s really fun to see them play. If this was a theme park attraction, I would totally be interested!

The gagner au keno people included in the video are Ali A, Smosh Games, OutsideXbox, Sup3r Konar, Hollie Bennett (from PlayStation Access), Eyewave Games, LeFlioid & Frodo, Nukem Dukem, and OpTic. Jane Perry, the voice of Diana Burnwood in the Hitman series also took part.

Realm Pictures was initially asked by Io-Interactive to make a version of their “Real Life First Person Shooter” series for Hitman. According to their Beyond The Scenes video, they “thought about it for all of about 10 minutes before calling them straight back and saying hells yes, there’s a way. Let’s do it.”

The Brand Marketing Director at Io-Interactive Marc Skouberg said in a press release, “Realm Pictures went above and beyond in their efforts and we’ve been completely blown away by the detail and how well they managed to capture the essence of the game, which is all about freedom of approach. It’s simply fantastic.”

Realm Pictures even made the location, Oldway Mansion in Devon, England, into game engine form, so they can figure out how to design the real life level.

Hitman’s Intro Pack releases on March 11th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with more content being released as the year goes on with 6 more missions and 5 more locations. There is the option to buy the full experience as well if you would like to wait for the content.
