Microsoft has just launched MyAchievements as a part of their Xbox Rewards program; where you could receive MS Points and other goodies by participating in surveys and buying content on Xbox live.

MyAchievements offers you rewards based on how high you Gamescore is–and there are currently three tiers:

Contender: 3000 – 9999 will result in a ‘special gift’ during the month in which your birthday takes place.

Champion: 10,000 – 24,999 will grant you the above birthday gift and a 1% rebate on all purchases you made on Xbox Live once a month.

Legend: 25,000 and up will get you the above rewards, but you get a 2% rebate instead on 1%

It should be noted that you need to be an Xbox Live Rewards member, as well as an Xbox Live Gold Member in order to receive these rewards. The Gold subscription must also be maintained by the first of each month in order to be valid. Hey, that sounds like a situation where Auto-Renewal would actually be handy.

I’m not sure what I was expecting when I first heard about getting rewards for unlocking achievements, but I don’t know if a rebate once a month is going to do anything for you, unless you buy a lot of stuff on Xbox Live. In which case: buy all of the stuff!
