It has now been confirmed from both Sony and Microsoft in their next generation of consoles that there will be the function to record built within the operating system, that grants the users who is using the console the ability to record and share gameplay. Neither Microsoft or Sony have specified which sites a user would be able to share their moments and memories on.
Now both consoles have this feature one way or another, it now comes down to the individual details. Seem like a popular route Microsoft is taking but as we all know the Xbox One lies behind the Xbox LIVE Gold paywall as a large majority of people are saying, meaning in other terms that players will need to pay up an additional $60 a year at MSRP, in order to gain access to this feature. Yesterday Yoshida, Sony’s President of Worldwide Studios tweeted that these features would not be exclusive to PS Plus members and would be available to all PS4 users in response to a numerous amount of fan questions on Twitter regarding the PS4’s ability to record and share game content, which means that the PlayStation 4′s game DVR feature will be a part of what players get when they buy the consoles.
