Release Your Inner Blood-Sucker. DARK is coming to PC and Xbox 360

Are you getting tired of killing the undead in your video games? Are you ready to walk a mile in their shoes and wreak a little havoc? Well, then get ready to get a little Dark.

DARK, the upcoming game from developers RealmForge, lets you take on the role of a killer vampire as you seek to destroy the evil GeoForge Corporation. I don’t know how interested vampires are in global corporations these days but the prospect of playing as a blood-sucking, undead killer is more than enough to keep me interested.

The game promises to mix stealth, action, and RPG elements into a sleek, gothic package as you learn new vampiric abilities and enjoy ever changing ways to dispatch your enemies. Different environments, which will include castles, museums, skyscrapers and nightclubs will be fully explorable and covered with a unique cel-shaded look.

This seems like just the kind of game to pique my interest but as with all games, the verdict will be out until the disc is in my Xbox. Let’s hope that this will be the game that lets us all finally embrace our inner vampire… without the sissy sparkling.

Look for DARK on PC and Xbox 360 in early 2013.
