Several copies of the German PS3 edition of Resident Evil 6 have been sold in Poznan, Poland. Upon learning this news, Capcom stated that these copies were provided illegally and that they are looking thoroughly into the matter. Capcom hasn’t stated how they will handle those that purchased these illegal copies, but nothing good is likely to come of it. It’s always a risk to play an illegally-purchased game, especially when you’re in a small minority of people who are playing the game at all. This risk is multiplied even more so when playing a console game, as on these platforms, it’s infinitely easier to track down who’s-playing-what.
