Resident Evil: Revelations will be the first title of it’s series on the Nintendo 3DS (possibly the first title that sells BIG on the Nintendo 3DS). It promises to finally restore the series gameplay to that of a survival horror with elements reminiscent of the older installments like limited ammo supplies and puzzle solving, you know the elements that made the series great in the first place! (I would take endless hours of exploration in the mansion over your stupid squid-spore people any day!). With that in mind we present the latest preview of Resident Evil: Revelations brought to us by the great Gamescon 2011.
The Resident Evil: Revelations Gamescon 2011 trailer featured below takes us deeper into the mountains of Raccoon city and introduces us to yet another new antagonist (Okay, where was he during Resident Evil zero and Resident Evil One? Cuz, I was totally up there!).
The trailer gives us a glimpse of Chris Redfield and his partner Jessica Sherawat, both members of the super official Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance or B.S.A.A. (I assume S.T.A.R.S. was taken?) and their pursuit of a terrorist organization called Veltro.
Make sure to check out Capcom’s Official website for Resident Evil: Revelations to learn more about the game and it’s features.
The Nintendo 3DS Blog had reported that the Japanese version of the site had been updated with new content and possibly a release date. If you’re like us and don’t speak or write Japanese very well you can opt to visit the link above to get pretty much the same information in English.
Resident Evil Revelations can be pre-ordered from Gamestop and Amazon.
