It seems like a strange decision after the success of Resident Evil 4’s Wii Remote control scheme was a success among fans but Capcom have confirmed that the port of the 3DS hit, Resident Evil: Revelations, will NOT support Wii Remote controls on the Nintendo Wii U console.
The official statement from Mikeeb, a member of Capcom’s marketing team states:
“Unfortunately Revs is only supported by the Wii-U gamepad at the moment. We’re doing what we can to get the new classic controller compatibility, but the game’s not setup to track motions from the Wii-remote at this time,”
