Retro City Rampage to finally appear on EU PSN this week

<p><em>Retro City Rampage<&sol;em> is set to be released on PS3 and PS Vita in Europe and Asia this Wednesday&comma; 16th January&comma; after a delay of several months&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The 8-bit-style action-adventure game&comma; which pays homage to the original <em>Grand Theft Auto<&sol;em> games as well as a slew of other classic video games and movies&comma; was released on the US PlayStation Store &&num;8211&semi; as well as PC &&num;8211&semi;  back in October 2012&comma; but only now is the game finally appearing on PS3 and PS Vita in Europe and Asia&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Although no specific reason has been offered for the delay&comma; developer Brian Provinciano told <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;joystiq&period;com&sol;2013&sol;01&sol;11&sol;retro-city-rampage-wrecks-europe-and-asia-on-jan-16&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Joystiq<&sol;a> that the added time had at least give him the opportunity to add extra polish to the game&comma; although what exactly this &&num;8220&semi;polish&&num;8221&semi; entails is unclear&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Retro City Rampage<&sol;em> was also released on Xbox 360 last week and a WiiWare version is set to appear sometime later this month&comma; although no specific release date has been given yet&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lbrack;Via&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;computerandvideogames&period;com&sol;386297&sol;retro-city-rampage-hits-eu-psn-this-week-with-extra-polish&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">CVG<&sol;a>&rsqb;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
