A year out from its release back in 2016, The Ringed City has been announced to be the next piece of downloadable content coming to FromSoftware’s Dark Souls III. It will be released on March 28th for PS4, Xbox One and PC and retail at $14.99. You can watch a new trailer for the DLC below.

<amp-youtube layout="responsive" width="500" height="281" data-videoid="ezosSMzPdNQ" title="Dark Souls III: The Ringed City DLC Announcement Trailer | PS4, XB1, PC"></amp-youtube>

Players will find themselves at the end of the world chasing after a Slave Knight Gael, who is out searching for the Dark Soul of Humanity. The chase will lead players to The Ringed City, where new content awaits. There will be plenty of monsters to fight, armor and weapons to equip, and the ability to interact with several new characters. Most importantly, though, is that there will be plenty of new challenges for players to overcome. The trailer above shows some pretty difficult-looking battles that will likely not be easy to tackle.

The Ringed City is the second piece of DLC for the popular Dark Souls III. It follows Ashes of Ariandel which also costs $14.99. Players who do not own either can purchase both digitally for $24.99, saving you $5 if you’ve been waiting. I for one never got very far into Dark Souls III, but I’m now becoming more inclined to jump back into the stress-inducing game before March hits.
