Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is coming to theaters on March 25, 2016 and it was inevitable that some movie tie-ins started appearing somewhere. Probably the most exciting of these tie-ins would be for Rocket League, as players will have the opportunity to demolish other players and run the field using the Batmobile from the film. A trailer was released, which can be seen below and shows the Batmobile in action. It is worth noting that they seemed to try and shoot the footage like the film’s trailers have been shot, with iconic scenes of the Batmobile being recreated below.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack will also include a way for players to pick which character’s side they’re on with new antenna flags. There will be flags that represent Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. It doesn’t seem like there will be a Lex Luthor flag, but perhaps they are focusing more on the heroes of the franchise.
This is not the first DLC pack that Rocket League has gotten which ties into a movie franchise. They also received DLC for Back to the Future, with players being able to drive the DeLorean. Rocket League was recently released for Xbox One, and this new content pack will be released March 8th, 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
