If you cast your minds back to 2003, you may remember a title developed by Rockstar (of Grand Theft Auto fame) which went by the name of “Manhunt”. The game, which was also released on the Nintendo Wii during its life cycle, caused many concerns among critics due to the nature of the video game and how it could have an impact on those playing the title.

The title, featuring James Earl Cash who is a violent offender on death row, is coming to the PlayStation Network next week following a tweet confirming just that from Rockstar Games themselves.

This means the title will launch on PSN on the 14th May next week (North America) and whilst there is no word on pricing we can assume, as with the price of all PlayStation 2 classics, that the game will cost $9.99.
