It might seem like ages since Grand Theft Auto V first hit store shelves, but Rockstar confirms that the game is still onboard for a PC release despite rumors to the contrary.
Following the recent removal of the game’s Steam listing and bumping its date up from January to ‘Early 2015,’ it was speculated that the game might have seen some sort of delay. While an explanation the game’s removal has yet to be given by Valve, Rockstar has otherwise overridden the news.
Upon inquiry by fans, Rockstar’s support team stated that “GTAV will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time.” Whether a real delay.
If everything goes according to plan, GTA V‘s PC release comes just two years after its original, record-breaking launch on last-gen systems and a mere month after its even bigger remaster on current-gen consoles.
Despite its delay, the PC version of the game intends to include the same first-person modes and additional content as its current-gen peers, as well as the advantage every PC gamer is probably well acquainted with: mods. Heist missions, another feature that’s yet to be seen on any version, are reportedly still to come.
