Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Trailer Surfaces

<p><amp-youtube layout&equals;"responsive" width&equals;"500" height&equals;"281" data-videoid&equals;"Wji-BZ0oCwg" title&equals;"ROGUE ONE&colon; A STAR WARS STORY Official Teaser Trailer"><a placeholder href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;youtu&period;be&sol;Wji-BZ0oCwg"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;i&period;ytimg&period;com&sol;vi&sol;Wji-BZ0oCwg&sol;hqdefault&period;jpg" layout&equals;"fill" object-fit&equals;"cover" alt&equals;"ROGUE ONE&colon; A STAR WARS STORY Official Teaser Trailer"><&sol;a><&sol;amp-youtube><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Star Wars Episode VII&colon; The Force Awakens <&sol;em>was just recently released on Blu-ray this past Tuesday&comma; but Disney isn&&num;8217&semi;t giving much time to rewatch the film a lot&period; Instead&comma; after last night&&num;8217&semi;s sudden teaser that a <em>Rogue One&colon; A Star Wars Story <&sol;em>trailer was going to be released&comma; they followed through with a full-length &&num;8220&semi;teaser trailer&&num;8221&semi;&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The trailer is definitely a teaser as it gives very little in the way of plot&comma; and really just acts as a showcase for some of the great actors they have on board&period; Felicity Jones will leading the cast of Rebels as they set out to steal the plans for the original Death Star&period; We get a look at some of the other actors that will be making their <em>Star Wars <&sol;em>debuts&comma; as well&period; My personal favourites are Donnie Yen &lpar;<em>Ip Man<&sol;em>&rpar; who gets to show off one of the only action sequences in the teaser and Ben Mendelsohn &lpar;<em>Bloodline<&sol;em>&comma; <em>Killing Them Softly<&sol;em>&rpar;&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The film is being directed by Gareth Edwards who is best known for <em>Godzilla<&sol;em>&comma; which came out in 2014&period; This is part of the annual release strategy that the team responsible for bringing back <em>Star Wars <&sol;em>are utilizing&period; Next year will see the release of <em>Star Wars Episode VIII<&sol;em>&period; For now&comma; <em>Rogue One&colon; A Star Wars Story <&sol;em>can be seen in theaters on December 16&comma; 2016&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;Wji-BZ0oCwg">YouTube<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
