Some of you may have heard of First Wonder for PC, the spiritual successor to Giants: Citizen Kabuto, and MDK, if you have then you’ll be excited to hear some good news!
In a press release today Rogue Rocket Games unveiled a teaser trailer, as well as some info about what they will show off at Pax Prime August 28-31.
Anyone that tries First Wonder out at PAX Prime will be treated to a “four player teaser” that offers a glimpse of what to expect in the game. The players will take on the role of jet-pack-equipped Cargonauts. They will then have to use traps to catch a monster aptly named Monstro. All this takes place on Majorcan Islands, a tropical paradise. The trailer shows off these characters, and how they move across the landscape.
First Wonder is scheduled to enter crowdfunding later this year. But gamers who want to support the project beforehand can become an “early believer” at the Pax Prime booth after trying the game out, or by signing up at the First Wonder website.
Nick Bruty, Rouge Rocket Games Co-Founder said the following about the game, and it’s presence PAX:
“PAX Prime marks the first time anyone outside of our office will get hands-on time with First Wonder. With First Wonder, we’re working on something truly special and, we think, unusually fun. We hope both fans attending, and editors covering, PAX will stop by our booth and play the game to get an advanced peek at what we’re looking to complete with our crowdfunding campaign early this fall.”
