Rugby World Cup 2015 Video Game Announced

BigBen Interactive has revealed that Rugby World Cup 2015 is coming to multiple platforms this year. The game is being developed by HB Studios and will feature all 20 teams from the World Cup.

“We want to offer a good simulation to rugby fans who will follow their teams in Rugby World Cup 2015,” said Benoît Clerc, head of software at BigBen Interactive. “We hope all our efforts will reach rugby fans’ expectations.”

HB Studios is the developer behind Rugby 15, which was very poorly received when it released last year. Criticism was particularly focused on the poor graphics and large amount of glitches. The last decent rugby game was Rugby Challenge 2 by Sidhe.

Rugby 15 was on current gen consoles but didn’t have current gen graphics.

Rugby World Cup 2015 will be released in September for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC.
