Rumor: Game of Thrones Leak Reveals The Cast

A Song of Fire and Ice may be incomplete in the literary realm, but now we’re told that Telltale Games is aiming to expand the world of Westeros one step further.

This past weekend, alleged screenshots of Telltale’s take on George R.R. Martin’s critically acclaimed fantasy novels were leaked online and apparently featuring a variety of characters across the books’ universe.

The screenshots originally appeared via an Xbox centric Twitter account, @lifelower, but have since been removed prior to their appearance across multiple outlets, with PS4 France being one of the most recent.

Feast your eyes on the gallery below and tell us just whether or not virtual Tyrion looks as devilishly handsome in pixels as our dear Peter Dinklage.

The screenshots above seem to take on the most decidedly realistic art-style that the studio’s animated thus far, as opposed to the graphic novel look of its previous series, The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us – the latter of which is poised to join Mortal Kombat as an actual comic itself.

Telltale’s Game of Thrones will be an original adaptation of series literary and televised roots in an episodic, point-and-click in the vein of its previous work. Reports claim that it’s intended to run congruently with the TV show as well as receive supervision from writers of the series on HBO.

We’ll just have to wait for further word from Telltale on our game of leaks.

As it was announced at last year’s VGX awards, Telltale’s six-episode journey into Westeros is intended to launch by the end of 2014 on Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows PC, iOS, and Mac.
