<p>Sony was rumored to be <a href="https://bagogames.com/rumor-sony-partnering-gaikai/">partnering with a cloud gaming company</a>. The latest rumor is that Sony is going to acquire either OnLive or Gaikai.</p>
<p>A report from <a href="http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/sony-close-to-agreeing-cloud-gaming-acquisition/096914" target="_blank">MCV</a> suggests that Sony’s deal “is close to being signed.”</p>
<p>If Sony were to acquire either company, Sony would be able to stream its own PlayStation content to gamers through the current generation of consoles, the next generation of consoles, internet ready TVs, mobile devices and more.</p>
<p>If this rumor is true, it truly world be a game changer (no pun intended).</p>
